Avari Dubai Hotel, 4 star
 

When I flew in to try some of the golf games Dubai has to offer, I picked this little gem to stay in after reading some nice things about it. It looks very attractive, highlighting an ultra modern touch. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was complaisant and friendly. The Stag's Head bar is a great cozy little place to knock back a cold one, and the rooftop pool offers wonderful views of the... well, city, but it's still exciting.
