Gold Coast Islander Resort Hotel, 3 star
 

Very nice place to stay, but it could have been a bit closer to the beach, if you ask me. It wasn't any trouble at all - far from it, it's just a block or two. Still though, you can't just run outside in your bathing suit (well, you can...) and hop into the water, unless you're looking for the pool, which isn't shabby at all.
