Hatta Fort Hotel, 4 star
 

Since my husband and I were travelling around the world, we stopped in Dubai for a few days to enjoy the sights. But the downtown is like any other city, loud and obnoxious, so we decided to try staying at the Hatta Fort Hotel, about an hour from the city. When we arrived to the spot we were greatly impressed. It's a tropical oasis under the mountains, amazingly beautiful and quiet. But it's not at all rustic; you won't have to rough it at all, with pretty gardens, clean pools, fine restaurants and more. If I could live there I would, but sadly we need to continue our journey...
