Rydges Plaza Hotel, 5 star
 

I guess it's been around for some time, but by the time we arrived, the Plaza Hotel looked about as new as can be. We stayed on a "red" floor - each floor is either red or blue, I think - and the room we stayed in was comfortable with air conditioning and everything. I can't imagine being without in this sort of climate, but at least you have some sea air to help if you prefer to go out for walks, since the city's just by the gulf. I liked the stuff, which was very polite and extremely affable.
