Paddington was previously associated with the poverty and prostitution but by nowadays it has a good reputation. The railway station Paddington, mentioned in the books of Arthur Conan Doyle and Agatha Christi, is situated exactly in this area. There are also plenty of cheap and not cheap hotels and youth hostels. Paddington also homes several communities - Greek, Jewish and the other ones. The famous Hyde Park is near at hand from here.

My review about this hotel is the following: I stayed at the hotel for 2 days and was pleased with polite staff, comfortable rooms and delicious food. There are many restaurants in the area and a lot of attractions. Thus, the hotel has a perfect location for travelers.

Thistle Bloomsbury

Thistle Bloomsbury is situated in Bloomsbury Way very close to Charing Cross.
My review about this hotel: I stayed here 2 times and on both occasions was very pleased with my stay. Location is brilliant beside Covent Garden. Breakfast was grand- fruit, yogurts, toast and cereal. Coffee making facilities were quite available - the thing I cannot exist without. The rooms are quite nice and cozy. If I had a chance to stay there again, I wouldn't mind!

Royal Garden Hotel
Located in some 500 meters from one of the largest parks in central London and one of the Royal Parks of London - Hyde Park, Royal Garden is a real discovery for travelers.
My review about the hotel is the following: My husband and I stayed at this hotel a few weeks ago and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Comfortable rooms with all amenities pleasantly surprised us. Dinner in the restaurant was included in our rate and was very delicious. The work of the staff was perfect. We enjoyed our stay very much and will return there for sure.
